Q: When are your meetings?
A: We meet on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of every month and follow the Little Elm ISD calendar – September through May. Childcare is provided starting at 9:15am on meeting days. Meetings are from 9:30am to 11:30pm, and include breakfast, a topic-focused speaker or activity, and discussion time.

Q: Where do you meet?
A: Meetings are held in Room E by the South entrance of the main building of CrossRidge Church at 1701 Walker Lane, Little Elm.

Q: What goes on at a typical meeting?
A: Our meetings  include breakfast, a speaker or activity, and discussion time. Speakers range from a variety of topics but always concern a subject related to this stage of motherhood such as: marriage, discipline, raising Godly children, nutrition & health, home organization, and personal finance. Activities or crafts are a great way to get creative and have fun getting to know our Mom friends better. Each meeting includes time for brunch, table discussion and prayer. 

Q: Are there any events outside of your regular meeting schedule?
A: Yes. Each table will coordinate play-dates for their members at least once per month. There is also an occasional MOPS wide play-date as well as Mom’s night out! There are even occasional opportunities to play date with other area MOPS groups. Each table may have additional activities planned for their group. We further provide the opportunity to participate in service projects throughout the year.

Q: What do my membership dues include?
A: Dues for one semester are $40!  Each mother is registered with MOPS International where she will receive all the benefits of membership including a Fierce Flourishing Guidebook, an adorable print to add beauty to your space, a bracelet to remind you to choose to flourish, discounts and music downloads, and postcards to send via snail mail. PLUS!! an annual subscription to Hello, Darling magazine, Access to Let's Talk, Darling webinars, a FREE download of MOPS Date Night app, exclusive discount offers, and weekly inspiring emails. The remainder of membership fees is used to obtain speakers, buy craft supplies, and pay our administrative costs. Membership does not include childcare.

Q: What if I need childcare for my preschoolers during MOPS meetings?
A: Free MOPPETS Childcare is available for children 5 and under, and for homeschooled children up to 6th grade. While we are enjoying fellowship, guidance, support and encouraging speakers in our MOPS meetings, our children will be enjoying an age-appropriate Bible lesson, craft time, play time and snacks with our dedicated and enthusiastic MOPPETS teachers.

Q: How do I join?
A: Please print out the registration form and send it with your payment to the address at the top of the page. You will then be contacted by our membership coordinator. Registration in our MOPS program is open to any and all mothers of preschoolers!

Q: I’ve heard that you are required to participate in fundraisers to be a part of MOPS. Is this true?
A: MOPS are asked to participate in two fundraisers per year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.  The fundraisers help us keep our registration costs and childcare costs as low as possible. We ask that each mom voluntarily participates in our fundraisers.

Q: I’m new to the area and don’t know anyone. How will MOPS benefit me?
A: Joining MOPS is a great way to get adjusted to your new home and meet new people! It provides a welcoming and fun environment to meet other Moms with children the same age as your own. When you join MOPS you will be assigned a table. This will introduce you to a small group of Moms whom you will get to know throughout the year. Your child will also benefit from the Christian based curriculum of our MOPPETS program while getting some fun time to play with other children and giving Mommy some necessary adult time! You're welcome to visit one meeting for free before making the decision to become a member of our MOPS group (childcare cost of $5 per child will apply). We hope you decide to join us!!

Q: What if I would like to join a MOPS group but I cannot meet on Monday mornings?
